The American Red Cross is a registered 501(c)(3) with a mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. We do this by utilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors to collect lifesaving blood; perform critical disaster relief and prevention; provide services to our Armed Forces, veterans, and their families; train members of the public in CPR, First Aid, and other emergency skills; and provide international support and relief in times of distress.

Our Southern Maine Chapter includes Cumberland and York Counties in Maine and provides all Red Cross programs and services therein.
