Casco

Casco lies between Sebago Lake and Pleasant Lake, with portions of Sebago Lake State Park inside its boundaries. The park’s beaches, trails, and campgrounds set the tone for recreation, while Crescent Lake and smaller ponds provide additional public access. The surrounding hills and waterways shape Casco as both a residential and seasonal destination.

The village center supports local shops and services, and town traditions add to its character. Casco Days, a volunteer-run fair and parade held every summer since 1935, remains the defining community event. The town also hosts the Maine Lakes BrewFest each September, reinforcing its role as a seasonal gathering place in the Lakes Region.
